Q: Is there a limit to the number of roles I can apply for?
A: You can apply for any number of opportunities, but we advise you to focus on those that best match your abilities, interest and skills.
Q: Do you have minimum educational requirements?
A: We'll consider your application whatever your educational background. Your personal attributes are just as important to us as your qualifications. However certain openings do require a bachelor's or advanced degree.
Q: Do I have to be a Humanities graduate to apply?
A: No, not at all. We recruit from all backgrounds. All we ask is that you're eager to work with us and aspire to learn and succeed in the equalities and human rights fields.
Q: I work outside the equalities and human rights industry, would you be interested in my application?
A: Absolutely, we're eager to meet people with experience at all levels who can bring different skill sets, perspectives and ideas to our company.

Q: How can I verify my application or profile is received?
A: Once your profile and application have been submitted, you will receive a confirmation email.
Q: Will I be notified if I’m not selected for the position I applied to?
A: Yes, candidates are always given the outcome of their applications.
Q: Does GREAT provide sponsorship?
A: If eligible, GREAT will sponsor work authorization.
Q: Does GREAT provide relocation assistance?
A: It is a case by case basis specific to the position but if eligible, yes, relocation is provided.

Internships
Q: How many internships do you offer?
A: Each year, we recruit scores of interns from across the globe into all our operational areas.
Q: When should I apply?
A: We usually recruit on an ongoing basis, interspersed with periodic campaigns. For summer internships, we list 6 months before they are due to start. Please apply as soon as you are able to register your interests in the next take up via careers@thegreattrust.org
Q: Do you have to be an undergraduate to apply?
A: Our interns range from high school, college students to people with degrees or higher qualifications. In all cases, an eagerness to enhance your research, campaigning, lobbying, organisational, fundraising and technical skills and knowledge is essential. We look for interesting personalities to add to the GREAT team.
Q: What is the duration of the internship scheme?
A: It's usually 10-12 weeks, but this varies from directorate to directorate.
Q: What kind of work should I expect from the placement?
A: From your first day, you'll work alongside our permanent employees on projects of business importance.
Q: Will I be able to gain a full time position following my internship?
A: At the end of your internship, you will evaluate your experience with your manager and discuss the possibility of a career with us. All interns are eligible to apply for full-time roles.
